A Decent New Radio Station?

(Paul says:)
Could it be at last? A classic rock radio station that plays a great variety? Yes, mostly. For those of you in SLC, tune into 104.7 FM. They have played a bunch of album tracks that are not as familiar to those who've relied on The Arrow for exclusive delivery of classics. However, there aren't as many B-sides as I would like (it's about 1 in 5 songs). Also, they play more modern stuff than I would prefer, which makes it a bit like Jack FM. Still, it's a great improvement and gives a radio preset that I can flip to between pre-recorded music.

Also, you can visit the station's website and submit your story about why music is important to you or contact the station or send an electronic song request. However, I could find no live stream yet.

In the meantime, I haven't forgotten to tell y'all about Night Ranger. I'm hoping to do that soon.

A Song to Help Heal Hurt Hearts

How Am I Doin - Dierks Bentley
(Paul says:)

I had heard this song before, but I heard it on the radio the other day and just had to share it with anyone who has ever had their heart broken - and that's all of us! - and it describes how to heal! I hope you like it, no matter what kind of relationship you are in! I will also try to find time to blog about the Night Ranger concert I went to over two weeks ago and haven't yet mentioned. soon. (Sorry 'bout tha', as the Scots say.)

25th Anniversary of my first guitar lesson

(Paul says:)

April 3rd was the 25th anniversary of my first guitar lesson (and 20th anniversary of my knee surgery). I mentioned it last year and blogged about it (with a play list, of course). Here is the link to that post.

Sometimes the Finetune playlists on the blog don't show up at all, I've noticed. I think they must have changed their policy or been sued or something, but the problem is beyond my control. Sorry about that, but we will soldier on, using other methods! Now, if I just had time to post something besides my re-hashes from last year...

You can still rock in America!
